The company «Euroton» starts building of a new brick yard in Kramatorsk

New brick yard in Kramatorsk will become № 1 by capacity in Eastern Europe. The plant will produce 90 mln. pcs. of conditional brick a year.

The amount of investment capital will make up 50 mln. USD.

Building of the new plant will make it possible for the company «Euroton» not only to strengthen its position of a leader at the Ukrainian market but to grow and by 2012 to occupy 80% of the clinker brick market.

Utilization of modern technologies, know-how and facilities of the leading European companies will give the possibility to manufacture brick of the best quality.

The company «Euroton» together with  «Krambetonbud» ltd declares about a start in the building of a unique plant producing facing and clinker brick in the town of Kramatorsk. The yard will be the highest-capacity among similar ones in Eastern Europe : the planned production volumes will constitute 90 mln. pcs. of the nominal brick a year. Such great output volumes  were results of an increasing demand in high quality and long-lived building materials to be met. The site of about 16 ha is allocated for building of  this “giant”, the planned area of its production shops will make 20 000 sq. m., building of the new plant will also solve the problem of employment in this region – 300 new work stations will be created. 

The execution of such big project required an investment capital at the rate of 50 mln. USD. Investment payback deadline (considered from the first output) is expected to make up 3 years. In the plant two lines will be set up : a line manufacturing clinker brick with the capacity of 30 mln. pcs. a year and a line producing facing brick with the output of 60 mln. pcs. a year. Raw material for brick production will be supplied from the famous white- and red-burning heat-resistant high-quality clay field in Donetsk region which has been so far used to produce the best ceramic clinker products in Italy, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain. Location of the new plant nearby the unique clay-field gives “Euroton” TM an essential competitive advantage – absence of  financial and temporary expenses for transporting of the raw material. Besides by experts’ forecasts eastern part of Ukraine will become the most dynamic developing region in terms of building.

Production will start from the second half of 2009. According to experts’  forecasts new yard will make it possible for «Euroton» to increase its share at the market till 80% by 2012 (by the end of 2007 its share is expected to reach 70%). This will result on condition that forecasted average annual increase of this market segment is 34 % during the given period.

Implementation of such project as new Kramatorsk brick yard requires hard professional work of the experts. The company «Euroton» did their choice very carefully. Draft design of the plant will be performed by the company «TEBORIN»,  an acknowledged leader in this branch having 50 offices in 20 countries of Western, Central and Eastern Europe. The major designer will be represented by OJSC “KRAMMASHPROEKT”. Experience of this company specialists ensures high technological level and quality of performance.
